Welcome to my site where you'll find a selection of free downloads and also a finer collection of commercial works. After some time of personal/private and commercial work making me unavailable to take on projects for clients, I am now available to compose. Simply drop me an email on the address at the bottom of the screen and let me know about your project. I do like as much information as possible on what your aims are, emotions, direction etc.
I have been composing since 1992 and have written music for games, intros, trailers and soundtrack for tv documentaries. I use the very best orchestral libraries, the very same used by various hollywood composers, I also where necessary use personal instrument recordings. Access to top notch EQ's, converters, monitors, reverbs to enable a rich and real sounding track for whatever your requirement. Realism is a major part of my aim, I do not make cinematic music that sounds false, great time and effort (blood, sweat and tears too!)goes into reproducing the nuances of real performances.

For home projects Kathryn uses a combination of internal and external sources and processing: External hardware- includes Roland JD800 synth, Roland V synth XT, Kurzweil PC3, vintage A-station,TC Powercore with Access Virus, Pod Pro guitar amp modeller. Focusrite Saphire 56, UAD2 Quad, Manley Massive Passive, Neve 88RS chan strip plug, Neve 1081 EQ, Neve 33609 compressor, Neve 1073 pre, ART 406 headphone amp, Shiney Box Ribbon w/cinemag transformer. Also Morphestra on portable glyph,EastWest Hollywood Strings, Wavelab sample editing. Software- Cubase 5 running on 64bit OS with intel 6 core extreme i7 @3.6Ghz, 24Gb's RAM, SATA 6Gbps SSD's, Virtually entire eastwest VSTi suite-StormdrumI&II, Choirs, Orchestra Platinum, Gypsy etc etc. ProjectSam Symphobia, Nexus2, Zebra, sylenth, Vanguard, Steinberg Halion Orchestra, Omnisphere & others. Other: Mackie motorized control surface, 3 LCD screen system to aid sequencing, score's video and mixing/mastering, Fender stratocaster, Yamaha 374 RBX bass, Laney amp, Yahama 311 flute, Mackie HR624mkII's, Sennheiser HD650 headphones.
