InnerCircles 2000
Tracked over the course on 1999 and completed in 2000, InnerCircles was one of my first 'lengthy' tracks consisting of many parts. It is featured on the site as a vintage track which was created on a combination of an Amiga 1200 and a PC using digibooster and fasttracker II, respectively.
Innercircles was only ever released on short run CD back in 2000 and was never available for download, so here it is in it's entirety for download only, rather ironically there is no longer a CD available. The track will never be remade, remastered etc.
This album is not here to demonstrate my musical or technical ability nowadays, as it certainly doesn't, it is rough around some edges and the 8 and 16bit samples are pretty old skool, but this album's always had a sentimental place in my heart as it was one that showed me what great pleasure (and challenges!) can be had from making multi-part themed albums, essentially that are one long track just broken up into parts for the purpose of playing from CD.
Some uninteresting facts about the release:
There is a short intro with snippets of my other old music modules bundled together at the start of track 1
Track 1 is one of the only times I have provided my own vocals to my tracks.
Only 20 CD's were ever made, incredibly short run.
The unreleased portion of InnerCircles II consists of 8 tracks, not 5 and runs for a massive 45 minutes
The sound quality and panning at times really suck :)
So give it a download some time, have a listen, don't be too hard on the sound quality. I would also like budding computer musicians to hear this and hear where I came from many years ago, if you are despairing about your tracks, let this serve to remind you what I'm sure you already know, practise makes perfect.
